My other Tumblr
I made a tumblr because I am currently in a transition from college to the “real world” so I made a tumblr that chronicles the makeover from a college student to real life and beginning to care for myself the way that I wanted to.

Home Decorating - The Ongoing Tally
Okay guys,
To start this off, I have gotten some very good finds while on Craigslist since I am a poor college student, and to top it off I lost one of the jobs that I had, but I guess that’s a good thing.
Anyway here is a design tally of Stuff for the home
1. IKEA Couch - $50 - Craigslist
2. Custom Built Bed - $100 w/ delivery; $75 w/o; free mattress included - Craigslist
3. Bookshelf IKEA - $25.95 - IKEA
4. Tables IKEA - $19.98 - IKEA
5. Stools (White) - $5.99/ each x 2 - IKEA
6. Sheets (yellow) - $9.99 - IKEA
The New Apartment
So I have moved into the new apartment and I can now tell you some things that can help it become home, all under $200, and that includes furniture!
1. Get a couch:
That’s the first thing that you want to do. You must list the things that you want in a couch such as under storage, ability to change to a bed, color, style and portability.
2. Make your kitchen/ or your special area work
What I had to do to make it easy for me to work and change the way that I do things in my tiny matchbox kitchen is that I had to clean it up, decide what storage I needed. The first thing I had to do was make zones. I then went to IKEA and got a bookcase, dishes, glasses, and some extra shelves, as seen in the picture below.
I then organized it according to how I saw fit in my own cooking style and of course you can see that in the picture on the bottom
These are the steps that are yet to be done.
3. Get standards and shelves for said standards for study room.
4. Get a long table for studying, sewing and whatever else from IKEA.
5. Get office chairs or something else.
I do not think that I will have the rest of this actually, why, because I am cheap and it will be easier to move out like this. :)
